Kitsap Sailing Foundation (KSF) is based at the Port of Silverdale on beautiful Dyes Inlet. KSF offers a variety of programs, including summer sailing camps for kids and teens, and lessons for adults. No prior experience is needed except for our Spring High School Sailing Team which requires coach approval. Our sailing programs and summer camps provide Kitsap County residents of all ages with hands-on learning, team building exercises, STEM education, and fun outdoor memories.
A Brief History
In 2006, a group of volunteers formed the Kitsap Sailing and Rowing Foundation to support youth programs in Kitsap County, and has been partnered with the Port of Silverdale since 2013. KSF continues to provide training, mentorship, and summer programs while helping the port acquire new sailboats and equipment and expanding its existing curriculum. Clam Island Rowing became its own non-profit as interest in rowing grew, so we now do business as Kitsap Sailing Foundation.
